Janti Chat is an open Arabic space, and what keeps it comfortable is everyone sticking to a few simple rules. They apply to audio, chat, names, pictures, room titles, and families alike.
Never allowed
- Sexual harassment of any kind, or pressing someone after they have said no.
- Hate speech or abuse based on religion, race, nationality, or gender.
- Explicit sexual content, graphic violence, or anything promoting self-harm.
- Impersonating another user, a moderator, or any public figure.
- Posting anyone's personal details without their consent (phone number, address, private photos).
- Fraud: selling or buying accounts, promising top-ups outside the verified agents, or requesting transfers while posing as staff.
- Advertising other apps or services inside rooms without permission.
- Using bots or attempting to manipulate game outcomes.
Room rules
- The host is responsible for their room: mute or remove anyone in breach, or the room answers for it.
- Room names and covers fall under the same rules above.
- Do not play music or content you are not licensed to broadcast.
- Respect the room's language and mood; each room type has its own character.
Families
A family leader is responsible for how members behave in the family chat. A family that becomes a vehicle for harassment or fraud is removed.
How we enforce
- **A warning** for minor or first breaches.
- **A mute or temporary removal** for repeat breaches.
- **A permanent ban** for harassment, fraud, sexual content, and impersonation.
- Banned accounts forfeit their balance, with no compensation.
How to report
Tap a user's picture in the room and choose “Report”, or use the report button in a private chat. Reports reach moderators together with the message log. You can also use the report form on this site's support page.
Repeated bad-faith reports are themselves a breach.
